Sanctioned Strength

The Central Public Works Department, Government of India is one of the largest engineering setup under the Central Government responsible for the creation and maintenance of capital assets.

It has under its fold engineers, architects, horticulturists along with support staff working in all nooks and corners of the country. The CPWD is one of the only organizations having its field units located in all the States of the Union through which it executes projects for the Government and other bodies who approach it.
